Cancellation and Refund Policy

The Canadian Financial Crime Academy (CFCA) is committed to delivering high-quality professional training and certification programs. E-learning services are intangible goods. All course materials, resources, and digital access rights are provided within 24 hours of purchase, CFCA does not grant refunds, exchanges, or credit notes for training packages, online courses, or certification enrollments, unless expressly required by applicable local consumer protection laws.

Cancellations
Once an enrolment or purchase has been processed, cancellation requests will not be accepted. Participants are encouraged to carefully review course information, prerequisites, and terms of enrollment before completing payment. In cases where access has not yet been activated, CFCA may, at its sole discretion, consider deferrals to a future session or alternate learner, but such accommodations are not guaranteed and remain exceptional.

Non-Attendance or Incomplete Courses
Failure to attend or complete a course does not constitute grounds for a refund or credit. Learners remain responsible for ensuring that their system, internet connectivity, and other access requirements meet the technical standards outlined on CFCA platforms.

Fraudulent or Improper Chargebacks
Please be advised that initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute after receiving access to course materials, digital credentials, or services is considered a fraudulent act in most jurisdictions. CFCA treats such behavior seriously. Any fraudulent chargeback attempt will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of all training and certification access,

  • Revocation of any issued certificates or credentials,

  • Reporting of the incident to relevant law enforcement authorities, and

  • Referral to a licensed collections agency for recovery of the outstanding balance and any associated administrative or legal costs.

Compliance with Local Laws
This policy shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws in the learner’s jurisdiction. Where a statutory right to cancellation or refund exists, CFCA will comply fully with those requirements. However, beyond such statutory obligations, all sales are final and non-refundable.
